Dr Vasudha Sethi qualified as a physical therapist from Ramaiah Medical College. She has been associated with the physical therapy clinic, an organisation involved in out patient physical therapy care for more than 40 years.

She also has a specialist training in management of Lymphoedema.

The inspiration behind SNRC, with an understanding of physical therapy today, she is in the perfect position to try and be a part of this paradigm shift that SNRC hopes to initiate, involving patients, their families and where appropriate additional specialities (like neurology ) to provide multi-disciplinary care to patients

Dr Varun Sethi is a Consultant neurologist at Imperial College Healthcare in London, U.K. With a PhD studying cortical imaging in multiple sclerosis, and a post-doc at NIH (USA) pursuing this further, his current sub-speciality interests are neuro-infection and neuro-rehabilitation.

He will be associated with SNRC for neurology consults and neuro-physiotherapy MDTs when in India (at frequent intervals), and subject to evolution of telemedicine laws also in a virtual manner.

He has a keen interest in medical education, public engagement and is excited to be part of this venture.

He is registered with the Delhi Medical Council.

Dr Bela Sethi BPT

Senior Physiotherapist & Director, PTC

Dr Bela Sethi is one of the pioneers of physical therapy in India. In practice for over 40 years, her first clinic was in the backyard of her residential home. The Physical Therapy Clinic (PTC) has grown into three well established clinics with a staff of over 20 therapists.

She has been the physical therapist to two previous Presidents of India. She has been associated with philanthropy and education and a frontrunner in the fight for the profession to be legitimised and get an independent council.

Her clinic and team will remain associated with SNRC in our endeavours to promote education and philanthropy. The team at PTC will be involved with the Neuro-MDT which will occur at frequent intervals throughout the year, and subject to telemedicine laws evolving, also on a virtual format.

Mr Vinay Sethi

Financial Consultant PTC & SNRC

Mr Vinay Sethi has been associated with PTC and now SNRC , with a unique understanding of the challenges of the logistics of establishing healthcare projects in India.

His expertise is instrumental in seeing the vision of SNRC, with a reach in Education, Public Engagement and Philanthropy.

Dr Raju K Parasher DPT, MSc PT Neurology (USA) , Ed.D (Columbia University, USA)

Dr Raju K Parasher has been associated with the PTC over the past 34 years. He is also the Director Principal of the Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy and has been instrumental in allowing a structured momentum to the clinical and academic aspects of physical therapy.

He is a well known member of the Indian Association of Physical Therapists and of the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.

Dr Parasher has been instrumental in starting the Society of Indian Physiotherapists (SIP) and is the current president ; SIP works to fill the lacunae of interaction between physiotherapists, in both clinical and academic spheres. Under his leadership this has evolved as a platform to share ideas, assist in promoting research, make recommendations to policy relating to the ethical practice and education of physiotherapy allowing motivated professionals in India, the opportunity to take the profession forward to its truest potential by means of deliberations, contributions and actions. He remains on the Board of Academics and Committee of Studies of various universities and has authored a variety of well cited publications, and book chapters in his field.

SNRC is fortunate to have his expertise in the neurology-physical therapy multidisciplinary paradigm.
