This design originated from Dr Bela Sethi’s drawing of the parrot. It represents the beauty in a moment that is allowed to be imperfect, flexible and free. A pause before a flight, a gaze planning the next move and a hope that can’t be contained. This is what the pulse of SNRC represents.
The parrot captures the essence of SNRC where the spoken word, the dialogue begins. A dialogue between patients and healthcare professionals, neurologists and physical therapists, artists and scientists, and between you and us. The parrot’s eye emphasises the need for focus and dedication to our work.
The colour Gold, echoes the majestic brilliance of the Sun and represents our strive to constantly improve and forever remain cognisant of our core, to serve.
The original piece in wax reminds us of the dynamic nature of health, of life and of the need to evolve over time, with humility to the winds of change.
